To be acknowledged in Bulgaria, document issued aboard or vice versa - Bulgarian document to be acknowledged aboard it should be translated and “legalized”. The translation must be made by a translator, has been authorized by Consular Section of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria to make official translations.

In Bulgaria, the documents are legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice legalize the Bulgarian public acts (documents) with a special certification “Apostille”. www.mjeli.government.bg
